Poster Updates
Changes may only be made to the Rules of Golf every four years. Usually very few changes are made. Changes may be made to the Decisions on the Rules of Golf every two years. Any time a change to the Rules/Decisions necessitates a revision on a poster in circulation a new poster will be created and made available.

With the introduction of a new Rulebook on January 1, 2008 thirty existing posters had to be revised. Most of the changes were minor ones resulting in re-numbering, re-lettering or rewording. Fourteen of the 100 posters had to be re-written due to the introduction of new Rules.

Misinformation about the Rules is very destructive and difficult to eradicate, so please either order replacement posters or make the changes on your own. If you choose not to make the changes on the fourteen posters that were re-written, please discard these posters from your collection as they are factually incorrect (for posters purchased prior to January 1, 2008).

You can order replacement posters from the Order Page.
